Default Help: Fuel pump not priming, car not staying on But it cranks

The motor cranks over and it'll start for a second then die.

When i put the key to the on position, none of the dash lights come on and the fuel pump doesn't primer. if i hold the key to the start position the car will stay running but then it'll die a second later.

Let me know what you think it is.

sounds like bad ignition wiring or switch if you are getting the car to RUN (not just crank) with the key in "start", but not in "on".

it was the ignition harness, everything works good now and runs in the on position.
