Makin a fiberglass tub for the hatch? Worth it?
Well the glue seperated on my alpine type r 12 so i got another one for free thanks to the circuit city warranty. It's with a mtx 4250d class d amp and punches quite nicely.
well it was in a ghetto mdf unfinisshed box and i'm not puttin it back in till I get me a nice box made. My uncle restores boats so I think he can hook me up with some fiberglass, or some tips at least.
My plans are just a fiberglass tub, wooden frame, MDF baffle board, then a false floor on top of it.
How many layers of glass will I need to lay down for it to be strong enough?
I've read up some on this stuff, but not too much.
