Default clock

i got a 96 accord exr coupe 5speed, and i just noticed the clock isn't workig....is it becuz i have a deck install?

getting off the subject i just bought a 96 EXR Coupe 5 Speed too .. yesterday.
my clock is fine.. hehehehe.

the fuse box i should check for teh clock in the one near teh pedals rite?....or is their one in teh engine?

There is no actual fuse for the clock or console that I'm aware of. But check them anyways it never hurts.

Also what's the difference between the EX and EXR? Never heard of the EXR, that the v6?

yes, ur rite....i did not find anything for a clock fuse.....yeah, Canadian EXR, 2.2L vtec 4 cylinder, i believe 145 HP

so, back to teh clock....any more suggestions on how i could test it if it works or check for a cut wire or soemthign?

it might be on the same fuse as, say the head unit so check that. (edit: just realized that if the head unit is working, the clock would be too, so scratch that) also, if you are comfortable doing it, you might want to take off that piece of the dash thats around the clock and make sure the wires to the clock are good

okay, this is the deal...i took apart my console and i realized that there is no cord plugged into teh clock......i dindt' have much time to search for the wire so i just closed everythign back up.......but i'm thinking why would the wire be gone?

maybe someone used the clock space for something else before you owned it and when they sold it they replaced the clock but didnt hook it up

safe to say that its probably the wire harness that isnt hooked up to anything. i cant remember, but isn't it green...or is that one of the power window harness'. either way it shouldn't be hard to find.
