Please Help!!! charging system?
OK, my friends '93 Accord LX has been acting kinda weird for the last couple of weeks. Every time she starts her car, either the clock or the radio resets and sometimes both. It starts fine and there's no check engine lights. Battery connections seem to be fine. Whats the deal?

I'm kind of unfamiliar with this "backup fuse" can you elaborate on what it does?
*EDIT* Searched and found out the backup fuse function. Is this going to affect anything besides resetting ecu, radio, clock??? Is it detremental to the vehicle in any way?

It holds the memory for the radio, clock and ECU when the car is off.

If the car is running ok I wouldn't worry about it. Are you so lazy you don't want to check a fuse?
