pros= better gas mileage since the ls 5th gear would keep it low in the rpms instead of a b16 5th gear, if you like freeway battles then the long *** gears would be good for you, (my friend has a DA integra with a gsr motor and still use's his ls transmission and it hauls on the freeway)

cons= well u know the cons

LS has alot longer gears than a B16. LS is better for turbo. B16 is best for all motor. Heres a web site with the gear ratios.

What he said.

Seriously, LS if your going to turbo. You can use the LS on a stock b16 but you will lose a lot more than you should. I tried and it was not pleasant.

Its gonna be slow, B16 already kinda sucks pulling from a dead stop with short geared tranny...couldn't even imagine it with LS gears.

There really isn't that much difference between the Cable ls trannies and the Hydro. You'll have a slightly higher final drive. Good tranny but only if TURBO. In your case, I would find a S1 or a Y1 (First Gen B16) . You'll be better off, but if you want to go turbo and have serious plans for it in the future then use the LS. Good luck
