Default b16 with an ls tranny

i was wondering if any one has had an experience with a b16 pretty much stock and NA with an LS tranny? i'm sure it would slow the car down some what as far as accelleration but what does 1st gear top out at if you **** at roughly 8200-8500 rpms? also wondering about 2nd and third.

i suppose i could do that, i was just looking into buying an LS tranny because i've gone through 3 b16 trannys, LS are cheaper and easier to come by. every time i find a s4c tranny for a legit price (600-700) then it turns out to be shitty..
