Default oil filter relocation kit/ oil cooler kit - loss of oil pressure inherent?

I am thinking of adding both of these to my car for track duty.

Has anyone experienced a loss in oil pressure after installing either/ or/ both?

And if so, what is the remedy?

lost of oil pressure after those installation is most likely due to the size of the hose. I would recommend to run at least -10 hose on the 4 cylinder engines. If you run extremely long hose, you might need to go with -12. I have yet to have to go to -12 on 4 cylinder engine. I did have to go to -12 on a 6 cyl due to pressure lost.

Some oil cooler are more restrictive than others and will cause pressure drop as well. For my case, I tried a setrab dual pass and didn't work.

Dont have an aftermarker cooler on my car, but wouldnt an Accusump be a remedy *if* pressure was lost due to adding the cooler?

add enough oil to fill all the lines, core of the cooler, required quarts for the motor, then you should be fine

I just installed a Setrab 125 oil cooler using -10AN lines, but I got rid of my original oil pressure gauge just before putting it in. I'll recheck the pressure after putting in the new one. If it remains stable, then I'll add on the remote filter and Accusump.

An Accusump would be like adding an extra battery to an ailing charging system trying to power a stereo system. It'll only add extra load for the pump to carry when the Accusump needs to recharge.
