WHATS WRONG WITH MY CAR?
hey guys, well my 94 LS doesn't start, it does crank, you gotta do that a few times then it finally starts, once it starts sounds like the engine wants to die, then when you finally the the darn car started, i drive and the car back fires and also, 1 , 2, 3 gear, kinda jerk, and my foot is no where near the clutch. Someone told me it could be timing belt, but i had mine changed about 2 months ago, you think they could have messed up some how? also, could that effect the start? you gotta crank the car a few times before it actually starts.
Very well could be a timing belt. Could be a bad ecu or some sensors. Could be something internal. But let's check the cam timing first. Yes it would make the car harder to start.

Have a mechanic check the timing. Or maybe the gears slipped a tooth or two on the timing belt from maybe being loose so now it's off. I'd be very careful about starting the car until you get it checked out. You don't want to wreck your engine.
Good luck!

I turned the crank to check if my timing belt was snapped. Do I have to return everything back to TD
