1989 nissan sentra good winter car/beater!
165k miles, clean title
4cyl, manual transmission with new clutch and new clutch cable. pop up moon roof and A/C works still.
engine coolant has just been flushed and the oil in the gearbox has been changed.
car has had the oil changed religiously, doesn't burn any oil but it does leak some from the main seal. not a big problem tho.
asking 550$ or best offer. located in NY

Oh man, that thing reminds me of my first car ever! I had a 1989 Sentra XE in high school. Mine had no options except for A/C and the 5spd overdrive manual tranny. It did not have power steering or power brakes. Believe it or not, it was a blast to drive, and it was totally indestructable. I think the only thing that ever failed on it for the 120,000 mi that we owned it was a $19 starter relay. It was really great in the snow too due to its light weight and high ground clearance.
Sounds like a nice deal.

totally!!! i understand that this thing isn't exactly the best looking car, but its not a total rust bucket.. if you need a good beater/winter car its a hard deal to pass up.. for 500$ and it will last you <U>atleast </U>all winter.. i don't think u can do any better than that

Are you sure that car is a 1989 model? I just noticed the taillights in your pic are the 87-88 Sentra horizontal-style taillights. 89-90 Sentras had different ones that had more of a vertical layout.

your right, it is a 1988 sentra... i had to go look at the registration real quick. i keep confusing it with my old 1989 toyota camry! 88 sentra, 89 camry, 90 crx.. 95 integra... alot to keep track of lol
