jl audio w6v2
If you are getting (1) 1000 watt mono amp you will be pushing 500 watts to each. The optimal rms as per JL manual is around 400-500. I was only pushing 250 to each of my 12w6v2 and it was more than enough. Shook the shelfs on the wall at the shop.
As far as what amp it just depends on budget and voice coil configuration. I don't know if they come in dual 2 ohm, mine are dual 4 ohm. So look for an amp that can push out 1000w @ 4 ohm mono and wire them in a series/parallel config and viola...500w to each sub.
Here is a ohm end load calculator:

Here is (2) Dual 4 ohm series/parallel:

Hope this helped

You will be fine . I have 2 10" w6v2. Steve at JL audio said its a great match with my 1000/1 My friend had 2 12 w6v2's only problem is you need alot of current to keep your voltage high. Alot of times with my budd when really hard bass hit his 1000/1 would turn off because the voltage would dip below 11V I have one too just not installed yet. I have 3 ZX350's by PG i9f you are interested i was going to run 1 to each or 3 subs plans have changed though Good Luck
