Hi everybody, im very new to joining honda-tech, but so far its an awesome site! :D

I have a 96 civic ex, vtec b16...does anyone know offhand how much the stock flywheel and the stock valve cover weigh? Ive been tryen to look online for some info, havent had any luck yet.

Ok, my bad first off... i just went and checked, i have a D16Y8....

 

no sorry not sure of the weight but if you have your flywheel removed just take it to a machine shop , they oughta trim it a b it for you

 

if you really want to make your car fast save ypour money for a turbo /supercharger, the bolt ons for our cars will only net you mabye 25 hp if your lucky. I saw a d16y8 w/eldebrock turbo kit running low 13/s with stock everthing! kit only(SLICKS)
