Default special sleeves for b20

A friend of mine is having problems figuring out how sleeves fit into a B20 block. He's sleeved Ls blocks, but he can't seem to wrap his mind around sleeving a B20. Is their something different that needs to be done? Are the aftermarket sleeves themselves different?

Wait, he sleeved his LS block by himself, but can't do a b20? I think something is wrong there.

I agree with the guy above. If you can do one you can figure out how to do another.

Actually, the B20 is one of the harder blocks to sleeve due to the one pioece stock sleeve that has to be removed. B20's have to be siamesed all the way down the block and have to be done very carefully otherwise you have big trouble. The B20 block is by far the worst Honda engine to sleeve. I speak from very in depth experience!!!

exactly what I was talking about; You just have to be more careful with the bore machine.
I spoke with Ted at Golden Eagle; awesome guy answered all my questions, knew exactly what I was talking about; and the most important aspect of all when dealing with anyone in business, didn't make me feel like he had something else that was more important. He spent a good 10 minutes on the phone with me, and never once did I feel like I shouldn't be talking to him. Awesome guy and awesome company!

Forget the B20 and use a B18 with a 84mm bore. Honda did a poor job casting the B20 blocks in the lower cylinder area making them a pain to sleeve.
