oil on spark plug tips and connectors
What would be the reason for getting oil on my spark plug tips and conectors be? Would the gaskets on the valve cover be allowing both problems, or do I have a bigger problem because of the oil on the cylinder side?
usually oil on the upper portion of the spark plugs indicates your spark plug grommets are going bad. Go to your local honda dealer and get the 4 spark plug grommets and a valve cover gasket. You don't have to replace the valve cover gasket, but its recommended when you remove the valve cover.
replace them and see if the problem is fixed.

I also have oil buildup on the spak plug tips on the cylinder side. Would the oil from the gromet side be seeping through or is the oil getting in the cylinders from somewhere else? also, it's not a big job to remove and replace the valve cover right? thanks a lot
Yes oil can seep through. Best bet is to replace your valve cover grommets(tube seals) and valve cover gasket(since it's cheap and already being removed).
