maybe most of you know that ill be swaping the h23 for the h22 very soon.
just this last week the parts started piling in
soo...
i got my engine sitting at my mechanics house. he's going to do a small amount of porting the head and he said something about "lapping" the valves.
i got my greddy header:

got the chipped P28 ECU from member "ih8ricerz"

and my valve cover from a guy on SHO (engine didnt come with a valve cover b/c it was missing lol)

i should be getting all the gaskets and seals and random stuff from Honda on tuesday (employee discount w000t) then i'll need the intake manifold (dont ask... cuz i wont tell
)
estimated swap day: middle of Julyish

i like to think of them as little lego bricks.
meaning they dont do much by themselves, but when constructed with other lego bricks they can make something awesome.

What kind of intake manifold do you plan on getting? Personally I would get the Accord type R manifold since it does not have the secondary butterflies and the p28 of course eliminates that. Unless you hook up the butterflies to the vtec wire or do the vacuum trick.

ok the engine i dont have pics of b/c its at my mechanics house where we will install it.
i got a stock intake mani (dont plan on using that unless i cant get the other one... i refuse to name it till i get it if i get it
)... so i got a stock intake mani with the throttle body that i need, injectors that i need, and a "just in case" intake mani... ALL for FREE.
tomorrow i will have:
- 2 cam seals
- crank seal
- T-belt
- waterpump
- valve cover gasket
- grommets
- thrust bearings
- oil pan gasket
- intake mani gasket
- exhaust gasket
- head gasket
all at employee discount
then all i need is a fuel rail and a fuel pressure regulator. then wait for the intake mani confirmation...
oh and a oil cap for the valve cover lol
