hahaahahaha i dunno motor has less than 120k miles but more than 100k i forget cause i got a new cluster, when i pulled the h23 was smokin alot and felt like it had shitty compression, the motor suprizingly is in great shape besides the few valve guides. i dunno wtf to do, i mean i can buy a h23 head for like 120 i guess but if valve guides are fucked i guess im fucked lol. anyone got any suggestions???

You are right: it's probably cheaper to replace it than to repair it. If it is only the guides, call some local shops and see what they would charge to replace them.
