Why are low comp headgaskets bad?
Whenever I see someone bring up a thicker headgasket as an alternative for lowering compression its always frowned upon. Why? Is it just because someone may get the wrong idea and think that now the stock internals can take much more boost? Thanks
why is everyone concerned with more boost? you should be worried about HP not boost
anyway the headgaskets are a good way to make the motor a little safer. as far as i know that will be more likely to go before anything else since its thicker, which is better then bottom end **** blowing. but with the headgasket being soo much thicker you need to compensate for timing being different.

some people dont like them because it moves the quench area further away from the piston top or crown..i guess it all depends on what type of head(chamber) shape/type and piston combo u are using to really make a difference..in optimal burn...
maybe there not bad ..i guess it all just depends on the setup..

I'm not concerned w/ more boost im just interested as to why every is always against using it. But, along with a well built and efficeint setup more boost does equal more power, Right??
