I am going to get some type r compression piston but there forge piston not cast are they good to boost. i try searching no hope.

 

so what compression do you think type r's come with ?

what head gasget ?hd studs?

how much/boost/hp is your goal?

too many factors that come in to play to you have to be specific you talking bout ebay knock offs?

long story short ..they could work but they are not recommended for high boost applications.

they are 11:1compression and if your gonna build a lot of power you should be aiming more like 8:5-9:5

 

nothing in the high applications just 350-400....about maybe 18psi
