Default D16Z6-T went to the track last night

well i went last night to the local track to test my lil baby

was not too happy with my results

my best ET of the night was 14.7 @ 91 mph

my freaking clutch was slipping like a ****.....
i can tell during 2nd and 3rd, the rpms rising fast, then comming down and slowly comming back up........ sucked ***......

time for a real clutch... ACT 6 spuck or someshit.......
my best trap speed during these runs was 95 mph........
i was looking foward towards a better time.. but i guess i wasnt able to hook the power.......

walk out with a slipping clutch, broken axles, faded brakes, and a 1st gear that now is acting up

i guess i have to retest it soon....
until then, shes going to have to be taken easy on

RT/-----------0.908
60'------------2.220
330ft----------6.239
ET@594ft-----8.945
1/8 ET--------9.548
1/8mph ------74.71
1/4 ET--------14.783
1/4mph-------91.06

whats your setup?

Around 200 wheel?

Im looking for a nice tranny setp myself, looking for the best combo of a nice clutch for nitrous and a lightenned flywheel, pretty pricey from what Ive seen though

A setup like that with the right tuning should be over 200 WHP. I would say most of whats worng is the slipping clutch. After that, go get some real emgin managment.

A 14b @ 9psi on a vafc hack.. I might be wrong but I have a hard time believeing that would put out over 200 whp..

exactly, and he is saying that this setup is only good for 14's...hmm...

it can be around 200whp with this setup, just correct tuning...someone had about that with a turbo zc with a vafc hack...

woa

where this Y7 and 5 psi came from???

anyways i should be able to easyly have 180-200 whp

if i did a 14.7 @ 91 mph... i am guessing nwith the real grip i am missin, i can go over the damn top speed i had today of 95 mph... and been able to pull the 14.0 or maybe 13.99 with my hoosier drag slicks

i have a y7/z6 mini-me with a 14B@9-10psi. I was running VAFC hack with 450cc DSM injectors at the time...

i ran the 1/8 mile on a set of pure **** hoosier road race treaded tires

60' 2.3
1/8 9.3
MPH 83mph

this was on new OEM stock clutch. Granted, its only .2 faster, but my mph is a lot higher. I spun the tires all the way through 2nd gear, and this is even with granny shifting into 2nd to avoid spinning. i have a video to back it up.

I think your car has a little more potential...get a clutch and flywheel. I recently installed a (used) clutchmasters stage 3 clutch & aluminum flywheel and it grips great. havent had a chance to take it to the track since I bought that clutch setup and a set of Dunlop SP SPort slicks mounted on Diamond Racing 13x7" wheels, but with a 2-2.1 60 i'm hoping for 8.3-8.6@83-85mph and ~13.5 1/4

Im not trying to steal your thread, i just like to compare to people with similar setups

If you want I can unplug the boost controller like it was when I ran and shoot a vid of the boost gauge for you to see..
