Another went to the track thread...... also dissapointed
well i went last night to the local track to test my lil baby
was not too happy with my results
my best ET of the night was 14.7 @ 91 mph
my freaking clutch was slipping like a ****.....
i can tell during 2nd and 3rd, the rpms rising fast, then comming down and slowly comming back up........ sucked ***......
time for a real clutch... ACT 6 spuck or someshit.......
my best trap speed during these runs was 95 mph........
i was looking foward towards a better time.. but i guess i wasnt able to hook the power.......
walk out with a slipping clutch, broken axles, faded brakes, and a 1st gear that now is acting up
i guess i have to retest it soon....
until then, shes going to have to be taken easy on

i honestly dont think you can get down on yourself for the times, with the slipping clutch and all. what clutch do u have in there now that was slipping??

i have a exedy factory replacement i got online, supposedely holds like 50% more,...
its clearly clutch issue... u can see the rpms climbing without proper acceleration.. i had to let go trottle and re-floor it to gain some grip.......
the weird part is that the clutch has about 15k miles in it and has only seen the drag strip for about 7-8 passes
the 60 foot times were 2.4, but i warmed the slicks and got it to 2.2
and my best trap speed was 95 mph with a 2.4 60 foot...
with the 2.2 60' i even lost speed... down to 91
