remove the headlights from the car, put them in the oven and bake at 450 for 4 minutes...remove the clear plastic cover from the front by prying with a screw driver or another such tool...tape 'em off, spray 'em...wait to dry...get some silicone caulk (black in color) go around the edge of the headlights with it, replace the clear covers, and then reinstall in the car...easy

no sir...they hold bulbs that heat up to higher temps than an oven ever would...the oven is just to get the silicone that seals the headlights nice and mushy so that it's easier to pry out...

so that will work with the rear tail lights as well to get the amber out? The oven trick will work?

getting the amber out of the rear lights is a totally differn't story...you sort of have to drill it out..that's why i didn't do mine

i wouldn't do that with the taillights...the lens is made of a completely different plastic that breaks much easier...the headlights are almost impossible to crack by prying them up...
