hehe I guess you were serious....

heat up the glue around your headlights w/ a hairdryer...pull the housing apart, and paint it. let it dry, and seal the light back up with silicon.

If your sure you want to do that

okay let me be more specific then, what parts do i paint black, and what kind of paint would i use? cause we're scared that the paint will start melting or cracking, or something from the heat from the bulbs. also will painting it hinder any of the visibility from the headlights?

You cannot paint the headlights of a 5th Gen Civic (92-95). Cause the whole headlight is the reflector. The 6th gens have a headlight surround piece you can paint.

1. remove headlights
2. bake for 250 F for 5 minutes then proceed to remove the glue
3. once removed, unscrew everything and paint what you want. don't paint the actual reflector on ur headlight because then your headlight will not reflect
4. put back together.
5. ask sports injection or me if u need any help. notice the subtles...

you can do the black housing on a EG and a del sol... it just doesnt look as good as the ek's because they are not clear... but if you use the search button and look around you will find many that have done them, same process for every headlight.

lol. better than making a new post. this topic has been covered a billion times, but i guess many of them were lost in the corrupt database

*edit -maybe that was the style back in 2001. lol*

Hahahahahahaha. Please don't believe every ricer you talk to. The whole headlight IS NOT a reflector. You guys crack me up and yes, this has been covered a million times. I would post a pic of mine which I did 6 months ago but if you do a search I'm sure you will see it.
