LOST!!! HELP PLEASE!!! ECU CHIPPING INFO!!!!!
Hi, I have a 1997 JDM Integra SIR-G, not the Type R, the SIR-G is a B18C1 (JDM B18C1 not USDM) not B18C5 and I have a CAI and a Full cat back exhaust, that's about it. I am gonna buy a chipped ECU but I am clueless with this while I was searching
I heard Hondata was the best so I searched but then I hear about s100 and s200 and all this, I don't know about all that
I just want a chipped ECU that will give me a high REV Limit without blowing my engine and a slightly lower V-Tec engagement point and substantial HP gains and also room for tuning out more power when I add additional parts as well, so please H-T, help!!!!! Also when yu explain to me about this stuff please tell me all the parts needed and where to get them, remember I can't post in the Classified's yet and I searched thru the archives for hours, I'm still clueless

Try this http://www.hondata.com they tell you everything about hondata.
um hondata is mad expensive and it's fully programable. if i were you i'd go out and buy an OBDI VTEC ECU, an OBD conversion harness, and chip that ECU and use uberdata to tune. i dunno if uberdata is compatable with JDM ECU's. i'm running uberdata and i think it's awesome. too bad i can't tune it yet

as far as getting regular chips, i wouldnt waste the money on them!! all they do is raise your redline and make your car run really rich, and its not beneficial because you are not supposed to rev past the stock redline unless you upgrade your valve train as well. i would go with hondata, but it is really expensive, and tuning is a lot more expensive too. i tried to take the cheap route and run different chips in my p72, and have it tuned with a vafc, but there is only so much that you can do with that, so i sold the vafc and threw the chips away, and now im getting hondata s100, and im having Mase tune it
