Default very annoyed...h series in sol

i keep having problems. i just want to drive my car

heres the story.
first time i started it. my main relay was blown. got a new one. it started. fixed some stuff to make it run smooth. drove it 100 feet. turned it off. reset the ecu. tried to start it. another main relay blown. someone told me to check my ground. well my ground somehow had volts going through it. (the ground for the relay) i re-grounded it. put another relay in. and now it wont work at all. i dont ******* understand. im also not getting a cel at all. even when my car is just on. my fuel pump turns on when i jump it. but thats the only time. is my ecu fried? please give me some help.

Your wiring is obviously faulty somewhere do it over. Make sure you solder everything and check it again. The main relay only gets a signal from the ECU then runs power to your fuel pump. So check your fuel pump wires and also your harness wires over again..

im also throwing the code for the IAC. when i unplug it. it gets all messed up. but when i plug it in. it seems to be working just fine. why am i still throwing this code?
last time this happened it was because i had some vacuum lines wrong. i fixed them and it ran great and the code went away. since then, the ground for the ecu came off and i put that back on. suddenly it was having these problems again. help me!

I never asked you this, but you know IAC has coolant lines ran to it, not vacuum.

When I first did my swap and wiring there was a plug that I thought was for the IACV since it was facing the front of the intake mani. Plugged it up and idle would change however I would still get the code. After taking apart the harness again the second time I realized that on the d-series engine the IACV is on the opposite side of the harness and you would actually have to lenghten the wires for it to reach the front of the ludes mani. THat other plug is still a 2 prong but goes elsewhere..

Check your wiring and your problem will be fixed..

yeah turbo, when i took it off that one time. coolant spilled out. so i realized it was coolant lines. lol.

also jason, i know there are some plugs that are the same as the IACV. i believe theres 2 other ones just like it. i guess ill try switching some of them around and see.

That is correct. The purge and the IAC are on the same connecting loom.

the map sensor for d16z6's are on top of the throttle body. it wouldnt be the same for the prelude because the map sensor is on the firewall. and also. the throttle body for the h23 has a vacuum line going to it from the map sensor. the d16z6 and sol do not.

the color of the iac plug is blue and yellow and for the map sensor make a bracket your self mount it onthe firewall and run the vacum line off the bottom of the map to the spot on the throttle body

hondaZvic, His H23a swap does not have a TB mounted MAP sensor. On the prelude, it will be in the middle of the firewall. You can use any map sensor from a honda (88+) for your car.

Yes, it will. They are the same. Just take it off the TB and you will see.

I really do not see that many preludes at my shop. They are rare. The only ones I really see is 92-96. So I really do not know. I will look it up thou.
