The words 'TURBO' and 'LEAST AMOUNT OF MONEY' don't mix very well. If you're boosting on a budget you may want to go the junkyard turbo route, or try to buy a used one from the classified section here on H-T. You can even try this https://honda-tech.com/zerosearch

AAAHHHH, credit cards are the DEVIL!!! Unless you plan on paying your balance off EVERY month. Otherwise there will always be things that come up that you have to spend money on, especially if you're modding your car. Trust me, I went that route when I turned 18 and it was a HUGE mistake. Now, 5 years later I still owe on it...actually I owe more than what I spent because of the HUGE rates. If I were you I'd SAVE the money you want to spend on your car, that way you won't owe anyone anything.

Don't carry a balance on your credit card. If you can't afford it now, save or get a line of credit from the bank. What's a couple of months at 16.5 seconds when you could ruin your entire credit rating if something goes wrong (life/job/etc) and you can't make a payment. Don't think of a credit card as a source of capital. (sorry, I can't help it, I'm an investment manager who deals with cleaning up other people's mistakes)

To answer your question, the typical "cheapest best" (and I hate to say this) is probably Greddy.

If you are 92-95 civic, greddy makes a solid kit, easy install and all. Also apex makes a really good kit but that might be out of your price range. You should look into bui;ding a custom kit if you are on a budget, if you build it with good parts it can out perform any manufactured kit. Also if you are a 92-95 civic then you should check out turbod16.com, there is a guy on there who sells sohc turbo kits for 500 dollars less than anywebsite. good luck

I would get a CX matifold, a 14b turbo of a 1st gen eclipse along with the o2 housing, get a 1st gen intrecooler and bov, get custom intercooler piping made, custom downpipe, DSM 450 injectors along with a resistor box or homemade resistors, need to run oil and coolant lines, for managment either apexi piggy back, or switch to obd I and run uberdata.

Oh yeah if you are going to be running cx matifold you got to kiss your A/C goodbye. Also expect your clutch to go, pay for tuning, and other misc stuff.

Total anywhere from $700-$1300

Get the greddy kit, intercooler and do proper fuel and tuning and you will have a turbo that works great on a stock motor.
