I am going to be using a set of pads for track only, swapping pads before and after events. Is it important or necessary to always use the track pads in the same location on the car each time (i.e., left side, outside pad) or can I not worry abuot that?

 

I don't have substantial issues with taper wear or anything funky so I figure it can't hurt, and mark the pads so I can put them back where they came from...
