I dont think it will fade away ..

I think it will just get to the point where eg's/and ek's just dont run anymore because theyre so old. I mean, look how long theyve been popular for, and they show any signs of slowing down yet ..

i personally think the EG/EK are classic chassis's. kinda like the new age of the chevy's and ford roadster's and stuff(would that be a good analogy?).

i'll keep my EG till it just cant move another mile or taken from me(crossing fingers). in a sense it will fade, pple will want newer cars and move onto faster cars out of the box, but only those who appreciate their EG/EK will see different.

I think there is always going to be a love for the EG/EK (at least i know i will always ). They are great cars to swap and look very clean. Stick w/ it...i dont think you will be dissapointed.

Just look at all the "old skool" cars, ie; '72 and up corollas esp the 84-86 gts, vw bugs. All still going strong. Hell my neighbor just picked up a dual carbed 78 corolla.

I think they'll be around for awhile

I think as long as there are guys like us, who love them, they'll be a market support for them.

Supply and demand...

I don't think it ever fade, unless honda come out with an better design then the Ep. Don't get me wrong Ep can look hot if built/fixed up right but if not then it'll just look like an little fat mini van. I mean come on the Crx is still around. Some considered it rare. So to me I don't think it'll fade untill they beat the Eg/Ek design which IMO is the best design ever Civic-wise. ........0.02

i love my 95 coupe but i put on a 2000 SI front end... and now I love it even more...

this scene will die out in about 5 years... not neccessarily "die out" but watch how the k-series and RSX's and newer SI's will eventually start to run ****...

most hate the new series because of expense, etc... wait til people find affordable ways to hook em up...

what better way then to wait for a used type s about 4-5 years... all the sudden that 23,650 that it was at the dealer is down to like 12,000....

EG's will probably stay longer and will be a "better CLASSIC" than the generation before and after. The EG in my personal opinion put HONDA on the world map.

Yet 510s and Old school Corollas seem to be making a comeback. I don't think they'll die. You'll see less and less of them, that's for sure. But some people will love them enough to never let go.

with the impact the eg and ek has made in the import industry, it will never fade away. pioneering the import drag racing industry. kinda like will the s13 or any 240sx ever fade away? no. with the impact it made and is still making in the drifting industry, never!
