ok so when i get in my car in the mornings or when its been sitting for a few hours and i start to pull off a min or 2 after its been running it boggs badly and it sounds like the cats clogged or backed up. it will jus give power pulling off then jus stop and make weird *** noises like its gunna break down. dunno whats up with it, but any suggestions

 

its a 93 civic dx (sohc nonvtec)*sucks ***** i know*

 

it could be a lot a things start with the fuel filter it could be dirty

run open header for 10 minutes just driving around see if that helps if it doesent bog or anything u know it was just a shitty cat.

if u mean it bogs bad on accel like half or less throttle then thats spark plugs.

 

Maybe its just me but isnt it bad to drive around with a open header?

 

this is a newb thread so far. cool!. I had the same problem eith my old car. it ended up being the fuel pump. hope this helps

 

Maybe the car needs a tune-up.
