Hi from the UK
Been reading through the forums on here for a while, decided to say hi. As you can see, I'm from the UK, but I much prefer the US or JDM look to whats in fashion over here - u need at least 17's, and flip paint and wild kits are in. A JDM or smooth look isnt usually taken to well, unless it's another Honda owner!
I work for a company who import parts from the US, but at the moment my plans are on hold as I had an accident in my EK Coupe VTi (I think it's an Si over there) and I got made redundant recently, but when i do start modding again it will be an EK hatch turbo, with Kandy paint and a turbo, or s/c. Another reason why I like a lot of ur cars!
Cheers

i think that most trends start in japan, then slowly move east... over here on the west coast of the US, we're about a year behind japan, east coast is about 2 years behind us, the you guys in europe are waaay behind =P
No vti444 - i said that flip paint is in - i'm not having flip paint cos I hate it!!
I wouldn't mind sticking with n/a....but 400 odd whp with a turbo is tempting, and turbo'd civics aren't common here.
There are some people that are up with trends in Japan, in certain circles we're up ahead of the US, ie with Drifting and D1.

dumbest quote on ht... ever.
Anyway, It's always good to know that there are still some people who prefer the clean look rather than the wild and crazy look of kits and chameleon paint

Just a quik education on drifting. It's nothing new, when I was in high school (late 80's early 90's) we were watching it on video from japan, all this is, is the band wagon. I just hope that it puts NASCAR to shame, I can't stand that ****.
