i did it last night..
follow the instructions on the bottle..
cover electrical components and air intake.. then spray the stuff on the spots where you want to clean..
then wait for approx 15 mins.. the rinse with water
after rinsing.. wipe the grease off..
and turn on you car for 15 mins to dry the water..
make sure you use it on a cold engine.. or else it will smell bad.. really bad

It works better on an engine that is warm

Make sure to get the firewall really good. I tried this with Gunk Engine Brite and it semi-worked. But the firewall and hood are still dirty. Maybe because I was chicken enough not to use the high pressure and only used the low pressure. Oh well, got to try again later.
The only thing is, does anyone know how to make it shiny after cleaning? Like all the rubber hoses and what not?

My engine bay bling methodology:
1. Cover air filter (I have a short ram
) and dizzy with ziplock freezer bags.
2. MAKE SURE PLUG CAPS ARE "CLICKED DOWN". Once a cap wasn't down, and I had a plug chamber full of water
.
3. Spray Simple Green liberally all over engine, bay and inside hood.
4. Wait 5min. Rinse.
5. Wipe any areas you can get to.
6. Simple Green again.
7. Wait 5min. Rinse again.
8. Spray WD40 on a rag and wipe down hoses.
One Simple Green spray bottle gets me through one cleaning session.
