Cluster swap, fuel guage help...(yes, i searched)
i have a 94 dx and got an EX cluster off someone on this board (thanks drew)
i swaped everything in, but the fuel guage doenst work, it stays on F when i dont have any gas...it rises to F and jus stays...
I've searched but all i could come up with in the archives is its possibly a wire that i'd have to switch.
I had an EG before with the same cluster (dx->EX) and the fuel worked.(bought the car like that).so i'm lost.
can anyone help?

you sure you u plugged everything that you unplugged back in? in my CX there was a plug for a clock that you could have got confused with some other ****... other than that i dont know, its a pretty straightforward thing to do...
are those analog guages?
if they are sounds like short to ground somewhere
if they aint it mayb still
level guages use resistance
no res. (short to grnd 0 ohms) full tank
another ex no res on coolant sender guage tops out
good way to check anolog senders/guages
