Help removing LCA bolt
no tips. except to make damn sure you don't break it, that's the most common problem in our cars, rear lca bolts snap like twigs.
Which bolt is it? if it's not the one holding the strut to the LCA then you can probably get away with just removing the bolt on the opposite end of the LCA. You can undo either of the 2 end bolts and that will allow you to pull down on the lca and remove your shocks.
If it;s the bolt holding the Strut to the LCA then I'd say bring it into a shop and pay em just to bust the bolt.

grind the bolt head away and get a new bushing.
new bushing + bolt + installation of bushing = about 25 bucks acura oem parts
if the bolts seized to the bushing your not going to get it out, and if you do the bushing is still damaged.
my opinion.

i did it like this.. gs-r control arm , all basically the same :
remove control arm for car.
angle grinder - 30$ home depot with a free grinding disc
bushing - 15$ with bolt included
grind the bolts in between the shock.
the shock will now come free. unscrew the remaining portion of the bolt from the shock. set the shock aside.
take the control arm with the screw still stuck inside the bushing to a machine shop, napa will do.
have them press the old one out and new one in - 12$
go home, reassemble the shock to the control arm using your new bolt. and attach to the car.
total cost estimated - 57$
& now you have yourself a new tool for your collection - an angle grinder. believe me this comes in useful, i should have bought one a long time ago.
