I hope this is the front.
The rear nuts are welded onto the shock.
The rear bolts on old cars have a bad habit of siezing. usually requires the
replacement of the bushing or lca altogether.

well somehow we got the nut off the rear, but the bolt wont slide out, something about it being self-locking. the bolt further out on the lca wont budge either, might of stripped it, damn it. any help is appreciated; i think i might have to buy a drill and drill it out, which i've never done before either.

well that sounds familar, if you end up destroying the bushings getting it out, buy a new lca with bushings already in it ($90) it will be cheeper that getting acura to press out the old bushings and put in the new ones, good luck
i think i know why the bolt isnt coming out. whenever i try to turn it, the bolt seems to have a spring-back feel 'cause the bolt is somehow stuck to the lca bushings, damn. well i was liberal w/ the wd40 on the bushings and will try to get it out tomorrow.
you guys think silicon grease will help?? how bout air wrench??
btw, the nut IS welded to the struts in the rear but somehow we got it off...oh well i'll try to work w/ it. Btw i'm puttin in koni yellows w/ gc's.

replace the LCA.
cut the bolt on both sides so you can get the shock out and remove the LCA.
The bolt isnt self locking. Its made in a way thats not supposed to sieze.
Guess waht, it doesnt work that well. All old cars do this. Just hit up a junkyard

well, about to assemble the koni yellow/gc combo. question: gc instructions say to cut the stock dust cover (which is metal), anyone have to do this? and according to gc instructions you dont use the rubber dust boot either.
