Add AC, what do i need?
I have a 92 Civic Si, w/ JRSC that i drive daily. I've been thinking of adding an AC unit to keep cool during the summer during my commutes, but whats involved with installation and how much should i expect parts to cost?
P.S. I have a race car on the side, so i dont really care about performance hits.

man, i'm gonna miss that huge gap in front of my header, arent i?
Do you see any problems with having an AC installed with a supercharger?
Should i bother with a used OEM kit or am i better off getting a new kit, possibly aftermarket?

If you got the supercharger already, check if there is still room for the compressor and condenser. the compressor will be taking space on the lower left engine support. And the condenser and fan assy will take up space right in front of the headers. Another issue is that your A/C system may not function very well if you have an intercooler since the heat from the intercooler could affect the efficiency of heat exchange on the condenser, unless you use a more powerful auxillary fan.
Thanks, you've been really helpful! I should have plenty of room... i mean.. nothing's there!
I found this ebay auction:

He mentions "This auction is only for the items found in the engine bay. What you see pictured is what you are bidding on" - My question is: what doesnt go in the engine bay that i would need besides the "AC" button?

You will need the evaporator and box that is under the dash. Do you sill have the blower motor in there? An as was asked earlier, I thought Si's came with a/c. Did you remove it for the supercharger? Did you buy the car like this? There is a chance you evap is still under the dash, look on the firewall on the pass side, you will see an oblong opening. If the evap is still there, you should see the ends of it.
