Well for some reason my turbo is using lots of oil, I think it might have been caused by a bad regulator. It was so rich at idle that gas was dumping out of the DP, But i had no way to get it back home other then driving it so i just went for it..

Anyways, Now it is dumping oil out of the compressor inlet, And smoking really bad! Anybody know if the seals DIY are replacable?? I searched a little but came up with nothing?

Any help would be appriciated


BTW, DO you think the seals would make it smoke really bad!!??

 

yea..happend to my 14b. smoked horribly...you can search eBay for the kit ~99 bucks I belive. I think the only tool you will need are Circlip pliers. Some people don't recommend rebuilding turbos yourself, b/c the shaft has to be spin balanced @ many thousand rpms.....
