I just put a turbo setup on my integra. My car now smokes alot. It only smoked before when i would really get on it. It is a white, almost blue smoke so i know its oil burning. My question is how can i tell if it is the turbo that the oil is coming from? Oh, and i hate to tell everyone this but this is an ebay turbo. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

sounds like what mine is doing now also man I asked the shodan and he said yup dont sound good lol

Lol, i expect the turbo to go bad quick, i mean its ebay, i just want to be positive that this is what is burning oil.

There's MUCH more to a turbo going bad than simple, "shaft play". That's the most common issue, but not the only one.

Idk about shaft play, im going to check tomorrow. ^^ what else should i check then? or what else goes bad? Im new to the turbo world, thanks for the help

well lets just say you should not turbo a motor that "smokes only when i get on it hard".

normally, I'd post an entire writeup in terms of what items could possible that what turbochargers. However, I do have to say that this is one of those things that you're going to have to look up on Google. I believe I still have some right of information about what makes the Turbo cool bad, so you may have to check up on my thread list to see if it's still there. Needless to say, there are more than just seals that go bad or "Shaft" play.
