Suggestions on Frame Repair
Hey everyone,
I have a 97 LS with 85k - it's been in a couple accidents. Nothing major, but when they fixed it last, they didn't line everything up, so the hood and bumper don't line up quite right...there's a gap between them...
The front frame rails are slightly bent, and the front tie-bar needs to be removed and rewelded.
I have two questions for those who may know...
1) What would a body shop need removed to straighten everything out, (fenders, bumper, etc...) - Basically what prep work can I do myself to save money.
2) How long would doing the above take? I have above average mechanical skills.
Thanks for the knowledge.
Ryan
