Well, I failed earlier today and it says "Gross Polluter". I suppose that goes on the car's records? They passed the ECU checkup stuff and visuals, but it failed the sniffer.

Here are the results.

15 mph: 2085 RPM
HC (PPM): MEAS: 167 (Max: 64) Failed
CO (%): MEAS: 0.87 (Max: 0.55) Failed
NO (PPM): MEAS: 2195 (Max: 477) Failed

25 mph: 2371 RPM
HC (PPM): MEAS: 73 (Max: 47) Failed
CO (%): MEAS: 0.17 (Max: 0.54) Passed
NO (PPM): MEAS: 659 (Max: 764) Passed

The car was warmed up, then it sat for about 25-30 minutes since there were other people there.

Now I have searched and read that I should have the CAT warmed good before the testing and keep the car running while I'm waiting in line...

Any ideas what I can do to make it pass besides puttting everything back to stock?

it could be your Hondata 3b with p28 ECU. Those thing reprogram your fuel and emission to get HP and increase smog in exchange. Try disabling it.

 

When I used to run my camaro through emissions, I'd add a few liters of Denatured Alcohol in 1/2 tank of gas, or you can just run methanol, burns very clean. Passed with flying colors on the second trip.
