Exhaust Dilemma...opinions needed...
Ok heres the deal. Ive had my Apexi WS exhaust on my car for about 2 years, now i recently went turbo and wanted to upgrade. I have a 3" DP and now have custom 3" catback SS thanx to Kteller, anyway, the question i have is regarding the muffler. I recieved a universal 3" Apexi N1 muffler from my buddy that he had on his scooby, however today after removing mine and dummying up my new exhuast, it appears his muffler is too large and will end up facing homo down if its installed. Now im in a predicament, do i just upgrade the exhaust piping to 3" and run it straight into the WS muffler via a 2.5 inch reducer welded on right at the muffler? Or do i leave it open DP dumping right the at rear bumper or what do u guys think? also anyone know of a decent looking muffler that will work well with the 3" pipe for a good turbo setup that will fit well and now sound too rediculous? So i guess also im asking how much power will i really gain from going from a higher flow muffler like the WS to a free flow like the N1?
thanx alot guys, i appreciate any help.

you seem to know about forced induction and exhaust... going 2.5" reducer won't kill your performance too bad... least amount of resistrictions after a turbocharger is ideal... but if you'd rather have a nicer looking exhaust there's nothing wrong with that... but if you're all about the extra horses... 3" is better.
ok so as of now i have just a 3" inch little limp dick dump on there, and its louder than a goddamn helicopter, so i obviously need a muffler of some type. preferably soemthing that will quiet it down considerably, but not ruin the advantage of 3" pipe, any ideas?
ok what do u guys think of this muffler, how much less or more restrictive would this be than the Apex WS?
its on the top of the page part number 14319
please lemme know what u guys think...
thanx

get a straight flow oval style magnaflow from kteller.
i ran one and it sounded nice and deep, not too loud esp with boost.
plus it looks nice and stock if you don't weld a tip on. i loved mine
as for the WS, if i remember correctly it's chambered, so it'll probably be a big bottleneck at the end of all that free-flowing 3" piping. i'd only choose it as a last choice
