Does anybody know what wires to connect oil pressure gauge to?

Default Does anybody know what wires to connect oil pressure gauge to?

Like the topic says Ive tried everything maybe the gauge is just broken. I just wanted to make sure. So if anyone knows for sure which wires they are please share. Thank you.

Do you just ahve an aftermarket gage?

Aren't you supposed to run a seperate sensor???

Yep... the stock sensor is just a switch... you've gotta run a seperate sensor.

I would like more information on this myself as well. Where does the new sensor attach to? Where would I get the sensor as well, dont have a guage yet but wanting add one soon.

I know when you buy a guage it comes with the proper sending units but I took the gauges out of a friends ex police car (crown vic) and it had a water temp oil pressure and volts gauge so i hooked it up and all works except the oil. Im mounting it all right now ill post pics when im done

If you wanna run the autometer OPG and sender, you gotta get a bspt(or is it bpst? not sure) -npt fitting. The autometer fitting will screw into the adapter. Some people try to run a NPT fitting in there and it just doesnt work and is very unreliable and can strip the threads out of the back of the block. Flamenco-T sells the fittings you need. Well untill I get new gauges that all work rigt this is what I have done. Two out of three aint bad.
