Just ordered my new turbo from CHEAPTURBO.COM. It's what they call the "Big Kahuna" lol.

It's a T3/T04R .82 A/R and the stg3 wheel.
It will be going on my b18c, for those that are not familiar with my setup...it's a fully built 9.5:1 full GSR, sleeves, pistions, rods, etc. and head work.
Any suggestions...opinions or comments are appreciated. Thanks.

i'm also curious how it will work. It doesnt seem like u would match up a .83a/r with a stage 3 wheel. But i'm sure they more then i do....so good luck with it.

Haha, you said Cripes!

The .82A/R even on a fully built GS-R is going to be nice, but rather laggy for the application. Though the rest of the config of the turbo could theoretically work.
Just be prepared to make coffee while you sit and wait for the turbo to spool effectively.
This is assuming of course that this is going to be used as a daily driven application

.82 A/R is not as bad as everyone makes it look like. I had 1.00 A/R Stage v on my 81mm lsvtec and I had full boost by 5200 rpm. but when it hit full boost, better hold on. I couldnt shift fast enough to go to 2nd gear. I love it

I believe with the stage 3 wheel it will spool up 500-600 rpms faster. On the full-race t3/t67 Geoff told me that some people feel it's a bad combo, but they have found it to work out pretty good.

Well...after a long time of research and going from between T3 and T4 exhausts and all sorts of other little things, I finally decided on this turbo.
CHEAPTURBO.COM has the same turbo on a b18c and it made really impressive power. It made like 580 or 560 HP to the wheels and it seems to make all the boost as of 5000 or so rpms. It goes from like 200 HP to 500 HP in seconds though...which is always a nice thing....hahaha!!!!
I also ordered my new mount kit today. I had the HCP 4 piece mount kit on the car before but I ordered the Hasport billet kit for b-series in 88-91 civics with hydraulic transmission. I ordered the 88A "Extreme Race" urethane. Anyone use these yet? Does the motor move at all? I'm so into the whole 4-piece thing...I'm actually pretty worried about that and thats why I ordered the 88A urethane which is their strongest.
