Default My first swap questions...

This is my first swap i am about to atempt.

My car is a 96 dx hatchback, and the engine i am purchasing is a b16a2 out of a 92-95 SiR and the swap includes the following :

»Motor
»Stock Motor Mounts
»5-Speed Transmission (LSD +$150)
»ECU
»Complete Engine Wiring Harness
»Civic SiR Axles
»Shiftlinkage
»Distributor
»Intake Manifold
»Alternator
»A/C Power Steering Pump
»All Working Sensors

what is this bout the radiator hose from a delsol vtec ?
also would i have to buy a whole new wiring to convert anything; if i am converting a obd1 engine into a obd2 car, with... uhh. i just don't get it..

i am stuck here, would i need new wires or not what else am i missing ? please help.

1 yo uwill need a conversion harness for the car/ecu (obd2 to 1)

you will also might need to rewire your injector plugs for obd2 other then that.. the radiator hose is just for the top one... so that it will fit fine.. any b16 radiator hose is what you can use/ i suggest for you to get a 99/00 SI raditor so the radiator hose fits "correctly" but its not really needed if your gonna hella clamp the hose LOL thats ghetto

you will also need to wire up vtec and knock sensor

and also need to get a 99/00 SI l bracket and driverside mount and 96+EX/SI
engine bracket

ok when the engine says it comes with the complete wiring harness.. that doesn't mean that it will come with the vtec , and knok sensor rewired ?

so this means i will have to do it ?

i know where to purchase a obd2 to obd1 harness, but where would i find something like this ?

the wireharness if JDM its useless... except the using the plugs itself...

but.. you will most likely need to wire up those things.. you can cut off the plugs you need and wire them up to the ecu

honeslty.. to make things WORK easiet... buy yourself a 99 SI wireharness..it will save you the headaches
