Default I need HELP please

I got a greddy turbo kit for my car recently and it had its problems at first but i had it all runnin fine for like 2 weeks. Last night I went riding around with my friend and I got down on it by this big group of people at an ice cream place where i live and a guy hops in his wrx and chases after me. We get on a main road and I downshift to 3rd and get past him a little bit and he downshifts to 2nd (it wasnt a race) and when he gets ahead of me, we can feel the boost goin down so i slow down. A few moments later my check engine light pops up so we pull over off the road. The car is puttering and shakin bad, we pop the hood and it seems that the dipstick popped off and oil was everywhere...I had another friend come with a flashlight and he couldnt see anything that might had blown off or disconnected it all looked fine by eye. He tried to check for a code but it just constantly flashes and doesnt stop. We do not know why the engine is shakin so bad and runnin like ****. I think im taking it to a guy tmw that is a honda specialist and have him look at it. Does anyone have an idea why the car is doin this?

hmm... I've never had that experience, but i can imagine that compression going through your oil pan and blowing out the dipstick is 'not' a good thing.

The compression is getting out of your cylinders somewhere.

Translation, it's broke. Tear it down and find out what went awry.

To bad dude, get ready for a project. Souds like new rings to me. I'm just suprised that the head gasket didn't blow first.

i would definitely think new rings, and probably at least one new piston. you burnt up your ringlands on at least one cylinder. you have no compression on that cylinder. thats what fuel tuning (wideband dyno tuning) is for. you ran it lean man

btw- you're gona need to hone that cylinder at the least. you really need to bore it at least .010" over, or sleeve it, or trash it and do a swap. at least d-blocks are a dime a dozen. dyno tune it next time

so right now we are thinking about doing a mini me with a d16y7, he really cant have the car down forever, so, what he should do to stop this from happening again, dx block, same vtec head, this time put the front mount he has on before jumping on it, and get a boost controller.

its a greddy kit with a vortech fmu instead of blue box, stock injectors, hks ssqv bov. he has a johnny race car front mount we just didnt have it installed yet before the other night, and the **** has been hitting 10 pounds in 2nd and we were redlining third when the CEL came on...

hey DOHC B18, that was a shitty race (guy in the wrx we were racing)

I've always heard that when the cel keeps on flashing thats when the computer is bad. With a turbo expect to get cel's often. We put a turbo on my friends si and his pretty much stays on, I think it has something to do with that blue box hack. But yeah this needs to goto the fi forum.

the point is that this is hardware, not software (because oil was coming out).. so don't look into the ECU beyond extracting the code out of it. then go check our oil feed and return lines, if those are good! then yeah, to shop it goes..

actually you said something about dipstick popping out, the pressure is building in oil pan. really bad. i have no idea other than guessing it's rings..
