I need help really bad!!! Please help...
OK, so I take my car out for a test drive. I wanted to see how it responded to normal driving and full boost. Well apparently it didn't like it because my check engine light came on 2 times along with my idle getting really screwed up. I was driving at about 2,000 RPM's and turned onto a deserted road so I could hit boost but as soon as I hit the gas to come out of the turn, the check engine light went on. So after I saw that, I immediatly stopped and checked to make sure the check valves (my Hondata isn't here yet so I'm stuck with Vortech for a little while) didn't come loose, and make sure it wasen't smoking from anywhere. I was just looking for something noticable. Well after I didn't find anything, I hoped back in the car and restarted the car. The check engine light didn't come back on so I thought I was in the clear. I started back to my house so I could figure out what the hell was going on. So as I sat in the driveway letting the car idle down, it started revving itself. The RPM's kept going from 700 to about 1,200 and didn't show any signs of stopping. During my car's demented idling, the check engine light came on again. So I figured ****, it must be the damn HKS Type 0 Turbo Timer because that was the last thing I installed and everything seemed to work before I put it in. So as of now, I am stuck. I don't know what to do. Someone please give me some troubleshooting ideas. Thanks in advance.
BTW - Boost is the coolest thing ever!!!

after reading your post your map sensor comes to mind....
Need to fool it into thinking there is no boost.

I don't know, I'll check it tommorow. All I have to do is put a paper clip into the ecu right? That's what I heard (sorry, I'm new at this).

Thanks! I'm going to check the code when I get home from work and then I will ask a more clearly defined question.

Right now I'm only running about 7 PSI of boost so I'm hoping thats not my problem. I checked the vacuum lines last night and it seems that I got all of them hooked up. Oh well, Hondata should be coming in any day now so it hopefully that will take care of it.

Re: I need help really bad!!! Please help... (CovertFI)
Where do you have the top vacuum source going to on the top of the wastegate? Is it to a boost controller? I have pretty much the same setup, I'll try to post pics when I get home.
