Default Oil Cooler - pressure

Those of you runnning oil coolers in your turbo setups, what do you do about your oil pressures? Fitting a higher pressure oil pump?

Default Re: Oil Cooler - pressure (swlabhot)

I have been tossing the idea around of installing a pump on the oil drain off the turbo and running it to a oil cooler then to the oil pan to cool the oil down some. I even found an oil cooler that looks like a small intercooler that I would mount in the top grill section of my 97 civic.

I don't think you need a larger pressure pump, just a little more oil to compensate for the cooler and lines.
