Default Another low idle question

First lets start with my setup
jun 3 cam and gears
jdm 4-1
aem fpr
jun valve spring cower ti retainers
hondata stage 3
custom exhaust
jdm fd
7.5 lbs flywheel
6 puck clutch

Now for the longest time my car has done this but since I just moved to texass I thought it will become more of a problem. When my car gets warm it idles at I say 100-200 rpm, but the car runs fine so I never really worried. But after I shut the car off and try to turn it on again it has a hard time starting. Even if I have not been using the car if it sits out in hot weather it still is a bitch to start.

I guess my question is why? and what if anything can I do to fix it. I did a search but nobody ever seemed to answer the question.

Thanks

This is a tuning issue. You need to log your idle and warm starts and see if its getting too much/not enough fuel and adjust. Maybe some of the Hondata people can chime in.

Im not saying they dont know what they are doing. Im saying that it might have been tuned decent the day you had it tuned, but now that summer is around the heat will start to change things abit and it will need more fine tuning. My car is the same way and its a tuning issue that takes time to dial in perfectly.

Unplug evap purge valve if you haven't already.. fuel vapors build up from your gas tank and released through there when you start the car causing messed up idle.

ok you might have to explain that to me because I dont know what you are talking about.

Also has anybody else had any luck with that and is it 100% safe to do.

thanks

wouldnt this only be a problem if the purge valve was not working? assuming its working ok, I dont see this as the problem.

Also, have you checked for any vacuum leaks or kinks in a vacuum hose?

yeah I dont think that is the problem, it has been doing this for umm I would say since the first expo. I have had it checked out but nothing seems to be wrong.

its the connector next to firewall.. with purple sticker that says denso on it.. unplug it and that should take care of dying idle at warm starts.. and yes, others had luck with that as well. since you run hondata, you wont get any cels.. if that don't improve anything, plug it back in.

Reading this part almost sounds like a bad Main Relay. I had one go bad in my Civic and it would run fine but whenever it got hot inside the car it would barely start and restarting after the car had been running was nearly impossible. I'd roll down the windows and let it cool off and it'd start fine. I don't think this explains your low idle and it probably isn't your problem but the warm weather thing kinda just triggered a Main Relay switch in my head

Jason - you say this has been ongoing since you put that setup in, but I'm going to throw this out anyway.

Back when I had my Toda B setup, I needed different tunes for summer and winter. Not sure what Yack changed between the seasons, but it kept mine from idling low and stalling at stoplights.

I hope not cause the only tuner around here charges $400 per dyno tune witch I dont have now.

Also I didnt get my hondata tuned in IL I used to live in socal where I had it tuned by AEBS and Hondata.
