Quick question about Low compression engines
it may just be a tune like he said. when loading a stock map in a not stock steup is going to cause issues with idling and drivability. i say get it tuned, and go from there if you still have an issue you can at least rule out the tune which is a major factor in any build.
What exactly does "not idling" mean? Hunting...bouncing...stalls?
Did you go through the process of setting the idle? Open up hondata help and search for "idle" and read the section "Idle Speed". Follow that process. Once done with that then you can fiddle with the idle using the iacv duty cycle slider on your hondata "Idle" tab in parameters. Also, if you get warm stall symptoms check the box under "Misc" in hondata that says "invert purge valve".
Just follow the hondata help that I mentioned, that should help get it squared away.
Oh, also confirm your o2 sensor is working, that will also screw with your idle if it's bad.

But thanks for the help.
Good luck.

If your asking if your low compression can cause problems with idle the answer is NO, 8.3:1 right here
its kind of hard to tell what your question is between your title and what you said in the first post.
