You should consider investing in a J&S safeguard to detect and protect against knock, especially with a P28.

You should really try using the search function. This is answered every week, so there is an abundance of information available. p72 controls your butterfly and has knock sensor. WHat is knock. pistons hitting valves.

Search. you will learn everything you need to know. And save yourself time waiting for others to reply to work you should do yourself.

Maybe you should try the search function. Knock is not pistons hitting valves. Considering that causes immediate engine failure, it wouldn't make much sense to put a knock sensor in an H22a now would it? It would be about as useful as a rod-thrown-out-the-side-of-the-block sensor.

sigged!

I'm looking at using a p07 for my H23. I wont have to worry about crazy fuel/ignition maps for boost like I would with VTEC.

http://www.howstuffworks.com if you want to learn more about combustion engines.

Look for reviews and so on, on the type of car you are looking at. Dont forget to drive it

LOL, that's kinda like the wonderful warning sensors I had on my old '95 Z-28... I put it in a ditch one night in the rain, and AFTER I had FINALLY came to a stop, the "Low Traction" light then proceeds to come on and "warn" me of the event that just occurred.

What is it then?

In repentance for the sin of misinformation on H-T, and hence being "OWNED" by a moderator, as so many lemming sheep have been so quick to point out, I provide the fruits of my last 5 minutes of information gathering as an example citizen of H-T.

Search function does not really cover this as quickly. Thanks for the flaming, maybe YOU can be as helpful next time...
