Default hondata & ecu question

I have a greddy kit on my d16y8. I'm sooner or later gonna put the hondata i bought several months ago on. I got a p28 ecu that I was going to run but was wondering if I should go with a p72 in order to keep the Knock sensor.

Can the p28 be altered to accept the knock sensor?

will my y8 knock sensor work with the p72?

Is it even worth it?

thanks,
bryan

The P28 does not have the Knock sensor capability so no hondata can not put that capability into the P28

Use the P28. The knock sensor control offered by the Hondata is not designed for any sort of tuning feedback. If you want real knock control, use the P28 and buy a J&S Classic Safeguard.
