difficulty of vafc install?

Default difficulty of vafc install?

how hard is it?
and in general what do i have to do?

Depends on your ecu...

With a p28 it took me about an hour and a half, including prep. Went thru and labeled all the wires, made myself a diagram, etc...

For the p28 you have to splice into 7 wires. If you've done any electrical work it'll be cake, so long as you TAKE YOUR TIME and check EVERYTHING...

Soldering is a good idea, but I'd hook it up with tap splices first if you're not sure. I tap spliced 'em, and am going to solder them when I get around to it, but if you do a wire wrong it's easier to undo a tap splice than desolder...

For 170 bucks? That better be in canadian, and that better be negotiable. that's 20 bucks worth of connectors and wire that anyone with a detailed How-To could make...

Or you could actually be proud of yourself and do some actual WORK on your car...

if you're familiar with wiring up a head unit then you can wire up a vafc.

i did my vafc and rev speed meter with g sensor and shift light in about 45 min on a p30 in my sol. i use the male female butt connectors incase something messes up then i can fix on the road with no problems. get one they are great and don't forget the rev speed meter too
