Default is vafc hard to install??

I am a mechanically challenged guy, but i wanna get a vafc

should i do it myself or pay someone else to do it??

also, is there anything aside from the vafc that i would need?

its all splicing wires. you may want an A/F guage to keep an eye on things and I would suggest getting a FPR with an in car guage.

Yea really easy, just as NiMhist said but i always solder them anyways just to make sure you get a good contact. Have fun. If you get an A/F meter get a Halmeter AF30 or a wideband. Latez

Hey im just lookin for some basic help on installing a vtech afc.I drive a 97' GSR and am planning on installing it soon.i just dont know if its a easy install like do the wires on the harness match up with the wires i have to connect them 2? What are some things I should know that would make the install easier for me. I have done basic installs with electronics, but never a v-afc.Please any info that you guys have would help me. What is VTECH? You should look at your valve cover, I don't think I've ever seen one with an "h" on it.

What is VTECH? You should look at your valve cover, I don't think I've ever seen one with an "h" on it.
mine has an 'h'...it say doHc vtec

Well the instructions are very easy, if you do not have one you can get it on apexi website, if you do have it just follow the directions and you should be good.
